as i write this, it's november 22nd, 2021 at 2:36 in the morning where i am. and i'm sitting on a long, haunting ten minute track i haven't touched in weeks.

i'm going through a lot as of this moment. so i feel like it's apt to present to you an older, haunting track i meant to release earlier. maybe it'll communicate this deep, hurt state of mind i'm in right now in an apt way.

here's why i made this track:

TRACKLIST MISCALIBRATED mainly samples one track. and it involves a lot of pitch modulation and a sub-bass frequency in the second half, which makes it intentionally nerve-wracking.

the original plan for this track was to "debut" it as part of some urlfest (not any particular one on any particular date, just one i'd know would get a lot of viewership). i would begin with 10 to 20 minutes of fun mashups and have a slight amount of static slowly fade in throughout the entire set, ending with this. in short, i designed this track to make people want to either leave my set or listen to it like one would watch a horrifying train wreck they can't look away from. it is the antithesis to appealing to an audience.

TRACKLIST MISCALIBRATED is an intentionally inaccessible as possible dark ambient track and i honestly may never make something of this length or caliber again. so enjoy it. (it's not leading up to an album like this or anything, sorry if you want more like this.)
